To kick off the start of AUT’s Social Enterprise launch evening, we were approached to design and facilitate a networking activity that would bring everyone together and help break down any barriers to the social aspects of the evening.
We created a superhero-themed activity that allowed all 60+ participants to interact with every other participant, share meaningful information about themselves in a playful manner, and quickly and naturally connect with others in the group with whom they shared common interests.
“What an amazing way to start people connecting and collaborating. It was the best way to start an event, and encouraged everyone to get to know each other without making you feel intimidated. Instead it empowered you to find out more about the other attendees. What I like about this tool is that it keeps giving, not only does it set the tone for your event upfront. It encourages your attendees to be comfortable with the events surroundings, and also reconnects you with attendees you found interesting a few days later.
If you want to create a positive, open learning environment, and build on the strengths of your attendees. This is the Networking tool for your event.” Matt Stenton, Young Enterprise Scheme Coordinator
