May have been a bit slow in the uptake of this one but we just stumbled across Noma – in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014 ranked as the Best Restaurant in the World by Restaurant magazine.
Love the idea of eating/scavenging local food and wild-food foraging. Using flowerpots and craggy rocks as serving dishes = awesome. Amazing inventiveness and one can only imagine the visual, textural and flavoursome delights explored by a chef of such calibre – with a three month waiting list (and the inconvenience of being on the other side of the world) it may be a while before The Open Fort team gets a table.
